The short film by Antonio Chiavacci “Una Storia da Medaglia” (A Medal History) won third prize at the national “Futuro Antico” (Antique Future) contest, promoted by the Unione Imprese Storiche Italiane (Association of Historical Italian Companies), which unites 45 Made in Italy companies, each more than one hundred years old, from 7 different regions of Italy.

Through the words of Chiara and Giovanna Montauti and “Master of Work” Mario Rinaldi, the short film recounts the story of the historical company, Picchiani & Barlacchi, the challenges, the difficulties faced and the large projects that have marked their journey.

Tradition, quality, beautiful things, style: even if there have been difficult times, everything can be overcome with these principles.

The short film by director Giuseppe Ferlito entitled “Signum. La storia di un marchio” (The history of a brand) about Torrini 1369 in Florence, the most ancient family of goldsmiths in the world, won first prize, while the film “Pasta Amara” (Bitter Pasta) by Ivano Fachin, dedicated to the brand Antica Dolceria Bonajuto di Modica (Ragusa), won second place.
